This year's BMW 7-Series, as expected, once again maintains itself as the absolute top choice in class. Regardless of whether you grade it in terms of luxury, performance or prestige, the 7-Series has plenty of it all. As the flagship model of the German carmaker, it remains the standard within its class to which all others compare themselves to and strive to duplicate.

The B7 gets a modified, supercharged V8 that produces an amazing 500 horsepower and 518 pound-feet of torque, allowing it to go 0-60 in 4.8 seconds. All of the models use a six speed Steptronic automatic transmission.

All of this power comes with copious amounts of safety and protection including 1st and 2nd row inflatable Head Protection System, active knee protection, side impact airbags and the more standard front airbags. Adaptive brake lights, antilock brakes, Dynamic Stability Control, Dynamic Traction Control, Active Roll stabilization and many other features round out the immense list of safety systems.
